About this Event
This will very much be an interactive session, with the delegates being asked to step into the shoes of Employment Tribunal judges and vote on the outcomes of real-life discrimination and harassment cases.
The event will provide a practical and legal overview of respect in the workplace, covering the following:
- Why equality and diversity matters;
- How the law seeks to ensure equality and diversity;
- A closer look at harassment, including on the grounds of gender-reassignment;
- A brief look at the new legal duty to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace;
- What employers can do to prevent harassment in the workplace; and
- A summary of disability discrimination, with an emphasis on neurodiversity.
PLEASE NOTE: By booking on this event your name and contact information will be shared with and processed by Knights Solicitors in addition to Blackburn College as co-hosts of the event.
