Founded at the Church of the Covenant by Rev. Larry Hill, the Back Bay Chorale returns to its roots for a meaningful celebration of our 50th anniversary. In the very space where our story began, we will invite the public to join us in rehearsing and singing Mozart’s Requiem—the first major work ever performed by the Chorale.This sing-in honors our origins and celebrates the enduring power of community and shared music-making. Set within the beauty of one of Boston’s most storied sacred spaces, the event offers a fitting tribute to our founding, and a resonant milestone in our anniversary season.
