Come spend this Winter Solstice bathing in the sounds of many voices weaving together in harmony! This Resound Season Finale will be hosted in the beautiful First Congregational United Church of Christ (20 Oak St.), in downtown Asheville, NC, on Saturday, Dec. 21, 6-8pm.This season of Resound has been such a potent, and healing one, as we hold all that has happened in our collective body in recent days. Our experience of singing together has been so connective, and so powerful, and we are excited to share these songs with our wider community!
Our choir (about 40 voices) will be singing songs of liberation and celebration, original pieces written by community members, Eastern European polyphonic songs, and deeply felt songs of communal grief and healing. Come prepared to join your voice with ours for the audience participation portions.
As seats are limited, you will need to pre-purchase a sliding-scale ticket, at the amount of your choice. Please give according to your abundance. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Proceeds from these tickets will be split between scholarship positions for next season, and charitable organizations supporting relief work here in WNC and in Gaza.
