7-10pm Resonate featuring DJ Father Otter from the western MA ecstatic dance scene is excited to bring you this magical, musical evening of connection and fun in a gorgeous new community space, The Pearl Aura!
Ecstatic dance is an opportunity to free the mind of thoughts and judgements and surrender to the body's innate wisdom. From this space of body awareness, we invite all parts of ourselves to be danced in a ceremony of movement!
This is a free form, sober, conscious dance. We maintain social silence on the dance floor to hold a sacred container for transformation at a deeper level. No prior dance experience necessary, all movement styles welcome.
We also ask that you honor the boundaries of yourself, others and the space. If you would like to dance with someone, please ask and receive consent. To decline a request you can simply respond with a prayer-handed bow.
Kelli Joy will open with a breathwork & embodiment exercise. DJ Father Otter will create an ecstatic musical experience to get our bodies moving, our hearts opening, and our spirits connecting.
We invite you to bring snacks to share on the abunDance table.
There will be cacao elixirs available for purchase (Venmo or Cash).
