Journey through three centuries of piano music, from Bach to bold new contemporary works, culminating in the world premiere of a new four-hands arrangement.

Ronojit Bhuyan and Giacomo Tora come together for ‘Resonances’, a recital spanning three centuries of keyboard writing. From the structured beauty of Bach and the passionate sweep of Brahms and Chopin to Debussy’s shimmering textures, the selection moves across eras, styles and sensibilities.

A highlight of the performance is the world premiere of a new four-hands arrangement of music by A.R. Rahman, created by Tora especially for this presentation. Bringing classical repertoire into dialogue with a contemporary Indian voice, the work forms a striking culmination to the recital.

The artists first met while studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, where A.R. Rahman serves as Honorary President. Shared musical curiosity and a commitment to artistic expression soon transformed their friendship into a creative partnership.

London-based concert pianist, educator, and collaborative musician Ronojit Bhuyan holds a Master of Music and Artist Diploma in Piano Performance from Trinity Laban. Award-winning Italian pianist Giacomo Tora has performed at leading venues across Europe and Russia, including Queen Elizabeth Hall, the State Hermitage Museum, and Teatro del Bibiena. In this recital they bring their distinct artistic voices bridging histories, geographies, and generations.
