Resin Art Heart Dishes craft workshop in Montgomery County, Md.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, create beautiful resin heart dishes! In this 90-minute workshop, Stacey and Heather will teach you about epoxy resin and how to use it to create gorgeous, functional works of art. You’ll receive instruction on how to prepare and color the resin, and will have the option to add embellishments of your choice, such as dried pressed flowers, seashells and glitter.

Each participant will make four dishes, so you can gift some and keep some for yourself! Try different techniques and add-ins on each dish.

Class includes:

• Introduction to creating resin art — no experience required!
• Three 3-inch and one 6-inch ceramic heart dishes and all materials
• Detailed instructions
• Finished projects to display in your home or give as gifts

Please note:

• Beginners are welcome. No prior resin art experience necessary.
• Since resin must cure, you’ll need to come back at least a couple days after the class to pick up the final project.
• Resin art can be messy — please dress appropriately.

Kids as young as 10 are welcome to attend, but any participant under 13 but must be accompanied by an adult. ALL participants must purchase a ticket.
