Get inspired by an image of your choice and explore two mediums (resin and acrylics) in this two-part class with two talented instructors to guide you, Mary Jane Erard and Shannon Eis. Two local talents, award winning, both teaching and creating for many years.
Part 1 is to create a beautiful painting in acrylic and texture medium to create 3D like effects on a 10” x 10” wooden board. You can choose from one of a variety of available images for inspiration or bring your own.

Part 2 you will learn to apply a non-toxic, 2-part epoxy resin to create a thick glass like shine over your painting, leaving it with a glasslike shine. Students will also have a large array of glass chunks, glitters, stones etc. to accentuate their masterpiece
Students will have a finished painting with resin on a 10x10 wood panel by the end of class, as well as an abundance of scientific knowledge about the products we are using. Piece must be left overnight to cure. All supplies included. Detailed instructions and demos given.
