Resilient Families: Supporting Children's Mental Health
About this Event
Every child deserves a trusted adult who knows how to listen, encourage, and connect them with support.
Join for the first session of our new Resilient Families Community Education Series, an engaging workshop designed to help everyday adults better understand children's mental health and confidently support the children in their lives.
No prior behavioral health knowledge is needed. This session is designed for anyone who cares about children and wants to make a positive difference.
During this workshop, participants will learn how to:
Recognize meaningful changes while seeing the whole child through their strengths, interests, and relationships.
Respond with compassion by listening, validating feelings, and creating opportunities for children to feel heard.
Connect children and families with trusted adults, community resources, and professional supports when additional help is needed.
Hope by understanding that every caring interaction strengthens resilience and can positively influence a child's future.
