In a time of crisis, what will we cook and eat? Explore themes around food sustainability, sovereignty and cultures in a unique experience.
About this Event

Join us for a food tasting and storytelling workshop on sustainable food and community resilience!

This workshop brings together ideas from Soul Food Sisters in Glasgow and Jakarta, Indonesia, where Studio LabTanya is based. Studio LabTanya is coming to Scotland to explore the question: In a time of crisis, how will we cook, and what will we eat? They want to hear your thought on this- all while you taste delicious foods in an immersive traditional Indonesian Madangan experience.

The Hosts:

  • With Studio Labtanya, a design-based research lab leading the project; and
  • Soul Food Sisters, a collective of immigrant women based in Glasgow with a shared passion for good & authentic food.

The Food:

  • The food will be inspired by local, sustainable ingredients and food that can be foraged in Scotland.
  • Vegetarian food
  • If you have any dietary requirements we should be aware of, please let us know.

We hope to see you there!
