RESET: The Body Knows - A Somatic Day Retreat

This is an open retreat for men and women who want to slow down, reset, and reconnect with their body in a safe, supportive space.

You don’t need to be “good at” breathwork, creative, or spiritual. You just need to be open to listening to what your body is holding and giving yourself a day to pause.

This day is about nervous system reset, emotional release, and gentle integration, using breath, body awareness, creative expression, movement and rest.

It’s not about fixing yourself or becoming someone new.

It’s about coming back to what’s already there.

You’ll leave feeling clearer, calmer, and more connected to yourself.

What you’ll experience

This day includes a powerful conscious connected breathwork journey and guided meditation designed to help you switch off the thinking mind and access what’s held in the body.

This style of breathwork can feel psychedelic for some people. It can bring emotional release, clarity, deep calm, insight and a sense of connection. Every journey is different, and you’ll be supported to go at your own pace.

After the breathwork, we’ll use creative expression as a form of integration.

Rather than talking straight away, you’ll be guided to gently express what came up through colour, symbol and intuitive art. This isn’t about making something “nice” – it’s about letting the body process and release. (Theres no right or wrong way)

There will also be gentle somatic movement to help bring everything back into the body.

You will experience a beautiful sound healing journey alongside Reiki energy healing.

The vibrations help the body soften and release on a cellular level, while the Reiki supports deep relaxation, balance and emotional reset.

There will be an opportunity to do somatic and grounding practices outside if the weather allows – I’m hoping for a sunny day.

Alongside this, the day will include grounding practices, journalling, rest, nourishing food and a closing circle.

Everything is optional. You can sit out, rest or adapt anything to suit your body.

About your host

I’m Caroline, a counsellor and breathwork facilitator. I run day retreats, workshops and breathwork sessions designed to support emotional wellbeing, nervous system regulation and deeper self-awareness.

My work is down to earth, welcoming and grounded. I create spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and feel supported.

Important information

This retreat includes Conscious Connected Breathwork, which is not suitable for everyone.

Please do not take part if you:

• are pregnant

• have epilepsy

• have a history of severe mental health conditions such as schizophrenia or psychosis

• have serious heart conditions

• have retinal or eye issues (such as detached retina or glaucoma)

• have had recent surgery or significant physical injuries
