Welcome to Research Expo 2026!
Join us for Humber Polytechnic's Research Expo 2026—our annual showcase of applied research, innovation, and industry–academic collaboration.
Bringing together industry partners, researchers, government representatives, funding organizations, investors, and innovation ecosystem leaders, the Expo highlights how Humber's applied research expertise helps organizations solve real-world challenges, accelerate innovation, and build meaningful partnerships.
Whether you're looking to address a business challenge, explore research opportunities, connect with funding resources, or discover emerging innovations, the Research Expo provides a platform to explore what's possible through collaboration.
Throughout the Day, Attendees will Have the Opportunity to:
· Tour Humber's applied research facilities and innovation spaces
· Learn from successful Humber–industry research collaborations
· Engage in discussions with leaders from industry, academia, government, investors, and the innovation ecosystem
· Discover student-led research and innovation projects
· Participate in facilitated networking opportunities designed to spark new partnerships
· Connect with funding organizations, investors, and strategic partners supporting innovation
· Explore funding opportunities, prizes, and other innovation support available to accelerate research and commercialization
New for 2026: Innovation & Growth Pitch Competition
We're excited to introduce the Innovation & Growth Pitch Competition, where selected small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will present real-world innovation challenges and growth opportunities to a panel of industry leaders, investors, and innovation partners.
The competition connects SMEs with Humber researchers, investors, venture capital firms, angel investor groups, and ecosystem leaders to explore applied research partnerships, receive strategic feedback, and accelerate their innovation journey.
The winning company will receive a dedicated prize, with further details to be announced soon.
