The third installment of Rescues: A Progressional Series, will take place on *Saturday, September 13, 2025.The event will be held inside the Great Bay Wildlife Management Area (undeniably one of Bill Caruso's most favorite spots to paddle locally) and launching from the location of Rands Historical Marina. Great Bay play at its finest!
As a building continuation, this series will look to take advantage of wind, waves, and current, when it comes to performing both self & assisted rescues, and practicing enhanced group management skills in a coastal environment.
Essential items to take part include the following: sea kayak of at least 14.5 ft in length w/dedicated bulkheads and including properly outfitted deck lines on top, PFD, spray skirt, helmet, bilge pump, paddle-float and stirrup if used, an appetite to learn, contribute as part of a group activity, and a willingness to get wet & have fun.
*Inclement weather make-up date is Sunday, September 14, 2025.
