Join us on Saturday, March 14, as we welcome our guest speaker, Tom L. Evans, CEO of Child Impact International. Child Impact International is a global nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children by meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Through education and rescue initiatives in more than 20 countries, they work to break cycles of generational poverty, combat exploitation, and empower children to build brighter, hope-filled futures.Thanks to the generosity of the Daytona Beach Adventist Church, more than $5,000 was raised, helping rescue two young girls from Bangladesh. During his visit, Tom will share an update on this powerful rescue and explain how Child Impact’s “Rescue a Girl” initiative identifies vulnerable girls, removes them from harmful situations, provides medical and emotional care, and connects them with sponsors who walk alongside them in their healing journey.
For nearly 60 years, Child Impact International has worked to empower vulnerable children through education and fight to eradicate exploitation. Their mission is to ensure every child has a safe, nurturing place to call home and the opportunity to reach their full potential.
