PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Jason Aurand will lead a Rescue Diver Course the weekend of Oct 11-13 2024. Come join us in learning how to be the best dive buddy you can be!IF YOU'RE ALREADY RESCUE CERTIFIED AND WOULD LIKE TO REFRESH YOUR SKILLS AND/OR HELP OUT DURING THE SCENARIOS, THEN PLEASE LET ME KNOW! WE COULD USE VICTIMS, BYSTANDERS, PIC/VIDEO TAKERS, ETC.
PADI Rescue Diver Course
“Challenging and rewarding” best describes the PADI Rescue Diver Course. The Rescue Diver course expands your knowledge and experience level and teaches you to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well-being of other divers.
This challenging course offers a rewarding way to build confidence by teaching you how to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies using a variety of techniques. The knowledge development portion covers a broad range of topics including Self-rescue and diver stress, emergency management and equipment, panicked diver response, in-water breathing protocols, dive accident scenarios, diving first aid, accident management, self-rescue, and emergency procedures. You’ll also develop your rescue skills with actual hands-on scenarios both in confined water and in open water.
Prerequisites:
- PADI Adventure Diver (or a qualifying certification from another training organization)
- Minimum age: 12 years old
- Scuba Equipment (Rental Available)
- Dive Knife/Tool
- Slate
- Compass
- Gear Bag
- Pocket Mask
Students will receive a 15% discount on all non-sale gear purchases through Dive N Surf.
Two student minimum for this course to run. Complete the E-Learning module before the workshop.
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course credits toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
