Tunes on the Plaza returns for 2026!
Join us on Wednesdays from June 3rd - September 23rd at Peavey Plaza for 5pm-6pm happy hour concerts ALL SUMMER LONG! With an exciting array of local musicians—from Americana to jazz, soul to hip-hop, and much more—we're presenting a little something for everybody this season. See you Downtown!

ABOUT THIS WEEK'S ARTIST:
It began as a search for a new sound. After touring the country with several bands over the years, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Pat 'Doc' Dougherty reunited with old friend and collaborator Haley Fleming on fiddle to create something new.
The sound was honed in taverns and bars up and down Highway 61 and slowly formed into a soulful blend of all the pages in the American songbook. A genre bending blend of hill-country blues, cosmic country, and even a little bit of house music.
Sawtooth Witch has performed with Joan Baez, Tom Morello, Maggie Rogers, Cedric Burnside, Charlie Parr, Alan Sparhawk (of Low), Davy Knowles, Rhys Chatham, John McCutcheon, Bob Log III, Arrested Development and many more. Their debut album "The Chariot" was recorded by Holly Hansen at Salon Sonics in Minneapolis and mixed by Nat Harvie and in 2025 Sawtooth Witch's lead single "The Hustle" was considered Best new Music by MSP Magazine, RACKET, and 89.3 The Current.

The 2026 Tunes on the Plaza Series is in proud partnership with the City of Minneapolis, The Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District, and the Minneapolis Downtown Council. All talent booking for the series is managed and facilitated by Ostrom Entertainment LLC.
