repro46 is proud to launch a new annual tradition: the repro46 Truthstorian Award — an event dedicated to honoring courageous storytelling that tells the truth about reproductive health and holds power accountable.

The 2026 Truthstorian Award will be presented to Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist Ziva Branstetter, CEO of Tulsa Flyer.

Hear from Ziva on her ProPublica team’s yearlong “Life of the Mother” investigation, which exposed the impact of state abortion bans and received the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service in May 2025. The investigation documented the deaths of five pregnant women in Texas and Georgia who couldn’t access timely emergency reproductive medical care.
