Representing Wales: Empowering Community Leaders
Discover how power operates and how community leaders can influence it. Build the skills needed to campaign, lead, or stand for election.
All sessions are strictly non-party political, ensuring a balanced and inclusive space where all voices are heard and amplified.
Important: In-Person Session
This session is delivered in person only due to its interactive and practical format.
Participants will take part in live exercises, structured practice, and small group activities. For this reason, online attendance is not available for this session.
We will cover:
- Speaking in formal political settings
- Structuring persuasive arguments
- Handling challenging questions with confidence
- Managing nerves in high-pressure environments
- Communicating clearly under scrutiny
Participants will have the opportunity to practise speaking in a supportive, structured setting and receive constructive feedback.
This session will take place in Race Equality First offices: 1st Floor, West, 113-116 Bute St, Cardiff CF10 5EQ
