About this Event
How do we represent our values when it matters most — in public, in community, and in moments of challenge?
This Sunday Platform explores how Ethical Culture shows up beyond our walls. Together, we’ll reflect on what it means to represent a humanist, ethical community in public life — through our actions, our relationships, and the choices we make every day.
Audrey Kindred and Anne Klaeysen will guide this conversation, bringing their experience in Ethical Culture leadership and advocacy to a timely exploration of how we embody our values in the wider world. Their perspectives invite us to think more deeply about responsibility, visibility, and the role we each play in shaping a more ethical society.
Rooted in the belief that every person has inherent worth and dignity, this program offers space to consider:
• What does it look like to represent Ethical Culture in everyday life?
• How do we show up for our values in public and collective spaces?
• Where are we being called to lead, speak, or act?
Whether you’re new to Ethical Culture or a longtime member, you are warmly invited into this thoughtful and engaging conversation.
Sunday Platform is our weekly gathering where we explore big ideas in ethics, social justice, and what it means to live a meaningful life in community.
Audrey Kindred is a Leader-in-training for the American Ethical Union. Her mentor is Anne Klaeysen. Together they wrote “Humanist Family Life Ceremonies,” an online course hosted by the American Humanist Association Center for Education. Audrey also leads Ethical Education at the New York Society for Ethical Culture and is the president of the National Ethical Service.
