This exhibition is presented in partnership with The National Black Doll Musuem of History & Culture in North Attleborough, Massachusetts. “Since 2012, The National Black Doll Museum of History and Culture has existed as the nation’s second-ever and currently only brick-and-mor- tar museum dedicated to the art, craft, history, and preservation of Black dolls.” Home to a collection of over 7,000 Black dolls, its mission is “to nurture self-esteem, promote cultural diversity, and preserve Black dolls’ history by educating the public on their significance.”

We extend our deep gratitude to Founder and Executive Director Debra Britt—storyteller, truth-teller, artist, activist, and community leader—and to her tremendous team at The National Black Doll Musuem of History & Culture for their vision and collaboration.

Thank you to our generous sponsors, BXP, the Cambridge Redevelopment Authority, and Cambridge Arts.
