ADEJA BANK BUILDING: A Transformative Hub for Reparations and Empowerment

Introduction:

The African Diaspora Equity and Justice Alliance (ADEJA) is a groundbreaking initiative conceived and established by Reparation Nation Limited, headquartered in London. ADEJA aims to create a Black African Autonomous Entity for Empowerment and Reparatory Justice. This document outlines the key aspects of ADEJA, its mission, alignment with the UK government, and the potential role it can play in the development plans for the Tottenham area.

Article I: Name and Mission:

ADEJA, or the African Diaspora Equity and Justice Alliance, is dedicated to advancing the well-being, empowerment, and pursuit of historical reparatory justice for the Black African community. The mission is based on an evidence-based claim-by-claim basis, ensuring a thorough examination of reparatory justice.

Article II: Definitions and Classifications:

ADEJA recognizes the importance of racial and ethnic classifications, particularly the IC3 Black classification according to the UK Government standards. This classification serves as the basis for addressing historical injustices and advocating for the welfare of the IC3 Black community.

Article III: Alignment with the UK Government:

ADEJA positions itself as an ally to the UK government, emphasizing joint enterprise, common purpose, and the value of race and ethnicity codes for good governance. The initiative recognizes the conservation of Protected Characteristics, including race and ethnicity codes, as a matter of national security.

Article IV: Reparation Assets:

ADEJA categorizes reparations into tradeable and non-tradeable assets, ensuring a comprehensive approach to addressing historical injustices. Tradeable assets include financial resources, while non-tradeable assets encompass cultural items dedicated to restoration and preservation.

Article V: Member Entities:

ADEJA serves as a clearinghouse for entities identifying as IC3 Black or part IC3 Black. Member entities are encouraged to contribute to ADEJA's mission through reparations, evidence-based claims, and support for the restoration of cultural identity.

Article VI: Evidence-Based Reparation Claims:

ADEJA processes reparatory justice on an evidence-based claim-by-claim basis, collaborating with the White People Protection League (WPPL) to reward whistleblowers providing evidence leading to successful claims.

Article VII: Reparation Shares:

ADEJA introduces the concept of "Blackness" as an asset class, distributing reparations shares based on the percentage of Black heritage. This approach aims to recognize and address varying degrees of historical injustice.

Article VIII: Identity Recognition:

ADEJA recognizes five aspects of identity, including place of birth, lineage, appearance (visual ethnicity), state of mind/habits, and DNA.

Article IX: Conclusion:

ADEJA envisions establishing a transformative platform addressing historical inequities, fostering international collaboration, and achieving shared prosperity. The initiative aims to commence melanated justice from a new entity after November 9, 2025, with the first reparation claim processed on or after this date.

ADEJA and the Tottenham High Road Strategy:

ADEJA is actively considering the purchase of the former Barclays Bank building on High Road / Broad Lane, N15. The intention is to transform this building into a Reparations Central Bank, a hub for processing reparations claims and advancing the mission of ADEJA. The initiative encourages the Black and Mixed-Black community to provide feedback on the suitability of the building for this purpose.

Communication with Haringey Council:

ADEJA is committed to transparent communication with Haringey Council. Feedback reports regarding the plans for the Barclays Bank building will be provided to the council to ensure alignment with local development goals.

Community Involvement:

ADEJA urges the Black and Mixed-Black community to actively engage in this process. Individuals are encouraged to contact Haringey Council, referencing ADEJA, to request a tour of the Barclays Bank building. This involvement ensures that the community's voice is heard in the development of this transformative initiative.

In summary, ADEJA represents a groundbreaking effort to address historical injustices and empower the Black and Mixed-Black community. The potential acquisition of the Barclays Bank building signifies a strategic move towards establishing a central hub for reparations processing, contributing to the broader development plans for the Tottenham area. Community involvement is crucial in shaping this transformative initiative and ensuring it aligns with the aspirations of the local population.
