Repair What You Wear with SHRUB ✨ New venue

Join us at this new permanent venue every Wednesday evenings to get help to mend your clothes and to learn to sew.

Our free drop-in sewing sessions are open to everyone from beginners to experts to meet, share and get advice in this cozy and welcoming space.

We have sewing machines, tools and some supplies you can use but if you need specific materials then please bring those along.

Examples of things we can help you with

• Mending knitwear
• Regular mending techniques including fixing a torn seam
• Visible mending with embroidery, sashiko, boro, patchwork
• Adjusting garments to fit better
• Jeans fraying at the crotch, knees, etc.
• Fixing a zip, replacing a button
• Using a sewing machine
• Upcycling garments
