Repa pasākums “Betona bīti”

Starptautiskā teātra festivāla “Teātris tuvplānā” laikā, 21. augustā plkst. 19.00 Liepājas teātrī dārdēs jaudīga repa rīmju cīņa “Betona bīti”. Pasākums pulcēs jauniešus vecumā no 14 līdz 25 gadiem, kuri, pārstāvot savas skolas vai organizācijas, sacentīsies par labākā repera titulu vidē, kur ielu kultūra satiekas ar profesionālu teātra mākslu. Dalībniekiem būs jādemonstrē gan iepriekš sagatavoti teksti, gan spēja improvizēt, savukārt lielajā finālā spēcīgākie stāsies pretī Liepājas teātra aktieriem.
Dalība pasākumā ir bez maksas, un pieteikšanās atvērta līdz 21. jūlijam, aizpildot anketu.
Pasākums tapis Liepāja 2027 jauniešu apmācību un mentoringa programmas ietvaros. Tās mērķis ir veicināt jauniešu aktīvu iesaisti “Liepāja – Eiropas kultūras galvaspilsēta 2027” programmas veidošanā un īstenošanā, sniedzot iespēju motivētiem jauniešiem no Liepājas, Dienvidkurzemes un Kuldīgas novadiem piedalīties dažādu kultūras projektu un pasākumu izstrādē.
Jauniešu programmas 2025./2026. mācību gada aktivitātes organizē biedrība “Attīstības platforma YOU+”. Jauniešu programmu realizē nodibinājums “Nodibinājums Liepāja 2027” ar Liepājas valstspilsētas, Dienvidkurzemes novada pašvaldības, Kuldīgas novada pašvaldības un Latvijas Republikas Kultūras ministrijas finansiālu atbalstu. Kopējais projekta finansējums ir 60 035 eiro: līdzfinansē Latvijas Republikas Kultūras ministrija 60 035 eiro apmērā. Liepāja 2027 jauniešu programma ir daļa no projekta “Youth Connect”, kas tiek īstenots ar programmas “Interreg Estonia-Latvia 2021–2027” atbalstu.
“Liepāja 2027” programmu atbalsta galvenais partneris vides izglītības un ilgtspējas jomā AS “CleanR Grupa”, galvenais partneris gaisa mobilitātes un starptautiskās komunikācijas jomā AS “airBaltic Corporation”, sauszemes mobilitātes partneris – SIA “Lux Express Latvia”. Informatīvie partneri – VSIA “Latvijas Sabiedriskais medijs”, AS “Kurzemes Radio”.

Energetic rap contest “The Concrete Beats” will be held in Liepāja Theatre on 21 August at 19.00. This event is part of the International Theatre in Close-Up Festival. Young people aged 14 to 25 will be coming together to compete for the title of best rapper.
They will be representing their schools or organisations in a fantastic setting where street culture meets professional theatre arts. Participants will be tasked with delivering prepared lyrics and demonstrating their improvisation skills. The most accomplished finalists will proceed to a final showdown with actors from Liepāja Theatre.
Participation is free of charge.
Registration is open until 21 July via the application form.
The event has been created as part of the Liepāja 2027 youth programme. The aim of the youth training and mentoring programme is to encourage active participation by young people in developing and delivering the Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027 programme. It offers motivated participants from Liepāja, South Kurzeme and Kuldīga the opportunity to contribute to a range of cultural projects and events.
Activities for the 2025-2026 academic year are organised by the association Development Platform YOU+. The Youth Programme is implemented by the Liepāja 2027 Foundation with financial support from the Liepāja City Municipality, South Kurzeme Municipality, Kuldīga Municipality and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia. Total project funding amounts to 60,035 euros, fully co-financed by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia. The Liepāja 2027 Youth Programme forms part of the Youth Connect project, implemented with support from the Interreg Estonia-Latvia 2021-2027 programme.
