We love ourselves some good old folk music, but to us, folk means something much bigger than a genre. Folk is creative expression of the people, by the people, and for the people. It's neighbors sharing songs, stories, ideas, and experiences.
That's the spirit behind Reno's Folk City.
✨ What makes this open mic unique is its rotating hosts. Every Thursday, a different artist from Northern Nevada's vibrant music community brings their own personality and musical perspective to the night, making each gathering a little different while keeping the same welcoming, community-centered atmosphere.
