Spectacular Event: Llanthony Secunda Priory Retreat at Gloucester Quays
Date: Saturday, 20th September Time: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Join us for an unforgettable day of wellness and rejuvenation at the historic Llanthony Secunda Priory, nestled in the serene surroundings of Gloucester Quays. This retreat promises to be a perfect blend of relaxation, mindfulness, and a touch of indulgence.
Event Schedule:
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM: Welcome and Herbal Teas
• Begin your day with a warm welcome and a selection of soothing herbal teas. Engage in a wellness chat to set positive intentions for the day ahead.

10:00 AM - 12:15 PM: Energising Vinyasa Yoga
• We start with a calming meditation, followed by stretches to warm the body. Then, we delve into two strong yoga poses, which we will incorporate into a dynamic Vinyasa sequence. Weather permitting, this session will take place in the beautiful gardens of Llanthony Priory. If the weather is not favourable, we will move to the stunning Henry Dene building. This session will focus on breathwork and meditation to help you find your inner peace.

12:15 PM - 1:45 PM: Lunch at the Quays
• Delight in a three-course, Savour a delicious starter, main course, and dessert at the Quays. (Please note that drinks are not included and should be purchased individually. Refreshments at the Priory are included in the retreat price.)

1:45 PM - 3:00 PM: Shopping or Home Practice Master Class
• You have the option to explore Gloucester Quays and hunt for bargains or return to the Priory for a home practice master class. In this session, we will discuss how to incorporate yoga into your daily routine and which poses are most beneficial.

3:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Yin Yoga and Crystal Bowl Sound Bath
• Return to the Priory for a deeply relaxing Yin yoga session in Henry Dene, focusing on the spiritual side of yoga. We will explore our energy centres, delve into Nadis, and use Mudras to divert energy. This session will be accompanied by the soothing sounds of a crystal bowl sound bath led by James from The Nook. The resonant tones of the crystal bowls create a meditative soundscape that helps reduce stress, balance energy, and promote a sense of inner peace and well-being.

4:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Cake, Herbal Teas, and Farewell
• Conclude your retreat with a delightful slice of cake and more herbal teas. Reflect on the day's experiences, chat and discuss the day, swap numbers with new friends, and say goodbye.
