We’re pleased to welcome top Italian saxophonist Renato D’Aiello back to the Maddermarket this evening since his last visit here in 2024.
Originally a graduate of the Berklee School of Music where he was mentored by Steve Grossman and Tony Scott, Renato toured the world with Art Farmer before settling in London in 1999. Over the 27 years since then he’s become a great friend of the club, and as he now divides his time between mainland Europe and the UK it’s always good to catch him while he’s here.
Known as having one of the strongest and most original saxophone sounds around, his treatments of jazz standards and originals have won great admiration from audiences and the press, and we look forward to performing his selections this evening.
