Did you know that Leonardo da Vinci was inspired by medieval jousts? As part of special programming tied to our newly opened “DaVinci The Exhibition,” The Henry Ford will be hosting a one-of-a-kind hobby horsing and jousting event on Nov. 15, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 🏇Guests will learn from the experts, like Detroit Institute of Arts Curator Dr. Chassica Kirchhoff and hobby horse U.S. champion Ava Apodaca. Join in on the jousting fun and create your own hobby horse, then try out our jousting-inspired obstacle course.
This program will take place at Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, outside The Gallery by General Motors.
