Remix OUTings: Summer Sunday 2026 Edition
Looking to expand your sapphic circle this summer?
Remix OUTings is a curated social series for queer women and sapphics 35+ who want real connection—good food, shared experiences, and a little intentional magic.
This round is for individuals—partnered or single—who want new friendships, a wider community, and fun ways to enjoy summer in the DMV.
How It Works
When you sign up, you'll complete a short survey—created by a sapphic, for sapphics—to help us match you with a small group of like-minded folks (6–10 total).
Your group will meet once a week for three Sundays, all within DC proper or nearby:
📅 July 19, July 26, August 2
⏰ Start time: Varies by group, but will generally be late afternoon or early evening
Based on your group's interests, outings may include:
- Brunches or dinners
- Museums and exhibits
- Outdoor concerts
- Arts and crafts experiences
- Farmers markets
- Escape rooms
- Mini golf, games, or other local adventures
- Free or low-cost community activities
Each group will receive at least one perk during the series—this could be a complimentary drink, shared appetizer, discounted admission, or another surprise treat.
To wrap things up, all groups will come together for a final mixer:

What You Cover
💵 The cost of your food, drinks, or activities each week
💵 Expect to spend approximately $25–50 per outing, depending on your group's plans
Your Remix registration fee covers matching, planning, venue coordination, communication, and the behind-the-scenes work that makes the experience seamless.
Time Commitment
📅 July 19, July 26, August 2, and August 9 (final mixer with all groups and alumni)
📬 Group assignments, schedules, and introductions will be sent the week before the first outing. But all dates will be 5-7 on the specified dates.

Whether you're new to the DMV, recently single, partnered and looking for community, or simply ready to widen your circle, this is your space.
Remix OUTings is about friendship and community building—not dating.
Important Notes
✨ Show up for yourself and your group. The best outcomes happen when participants attend consistently, engage in the WhatsApp chat, and approach new people with curiosity and openness.
✨ Matching is intentional—not guaranteed. We thoughtfully create groups based on the participants we have, but we can't guarantee everyone will become best friends. Most participants leave with meaningful new connections and a broader sense of community.
✨ Refunds are available up to 7 days before the first outing. After that, no refunds or transfers.

By attending a Mixtape Sapphics event, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded by our team, volunteers, and fellow participants for promotional use. Photos and videos may be submitted to us by attendees and may be used for social media, event recaps, and other marketing materials now or in the future.
Your presence at the event implies agreement to the use of your image, voice, and likeness—without compensation—in any media created by or for Mixtape Sapphics. You release Mixtape Sapphics and its partners from any liability related to such usage.
