Remembrance Sunday is the Sunday closest to Veterans' or "Armistice" Day and commemorates "those who have died for their country in war; those whom we knew, and whose memory we treasure; and all who have lived and died in the service of mankind."
You are warmly invited to join us for our Joint Service of Holy Communion as we remember before God those who gave their lives in war and conflict, and all who continue to serve in the cause of peace. Military personnel and Veterans please attend in uniform, if able.
Sunday, November 8th, at 10:00 A.M.
St. Mark's, Loomis.
Together we will offer intercessions for the fallen, renew our hope in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, “who makes wars to cease in all the world,” celebrate the Holy Communion, and lay wreathes in commemoration of the departed.
This will be the only service this Sunday. There will be no services at 9:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M.
All are welcome!
