Remembrance Sunday – Wreath Laying Announcement
Llanelli Cenotaph Sunday 9th November 2025
All individuals and groups intending to lay a wreath at this year’s Remembrance Service are kindly asked to take note of the following arrangements:
• Wreath layers must be assembled by 10:00hrs sharp in front of the green leading up to the cenotaph, make yourself known to the poppy appeal organiser where you will be given a token to indicate your position in the order of laying and returned at the end of the ceremony. Please follow the established format and order below.
• Those participating in the march and arrive at the Town Hall, should make their way to the wreath line and position themselves accordingly.
• The final day to purchase a wreath is Thursday 6th November from the Royal British Legion pop-up shop.
No further additions can be made after this date due to time constraints and health & safety regulations.
• Please do not arrive on the morning expecting to lay a wreath if you are not already registered. Unfortunately, you will be turned away.
However, you are welcome to lay a wreath privately after the ceremony has concluded.
This year’s wreath laying has been carefully coordinated to honour all who serve and have served. We ask for your cooperation and understanding to ensure the service runs smoothly and respectfully.
