Join us in honoring MMIW Awareness Day. This event will focus on honoring this day, lost loved ones, missing persons, and their families. Our lead coordinators have decided to incorporate healing and healthy self care as we aim to uplift MMIW MMIP families.
There will be pray, song, grounding with an amazing yoga instructor, education, a Remembrance table, proclamation reading, and a potluck dinner. Please feel free to bring a dish to share with others.
There will be time to speak as well. We aim to offer any MMIW MMIP families a moment to speak. If it is to share about their fight for justice or to speak their name. There will be time. Join us in being there for the families.
