A Day to Remember and Celebrate a Remarkable WomanPlease join us as we gather to celebrate the life of a truly remarkable woman who touched many lives — and talked many ears off along the way.
For over 50 years she was a familiar face behind the bar in our small town, sharing laughs, stories, and friendship with so many.
Location: Barclay Best Western
Doors Open: 11:00 AM
Welcome & Opening: around 11:30 AM
The afternoon will include stories, an open mic for anyone who would like to share memories, and a slideshow. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. We expect to wrap up around 2:00 PM.
For those who would like to continue visiting, enjoying a beverage, and listening to live music, the celebration will carry on at the Blue Marlin (formerly the Arlington) where Mel and the staff have graciously provided some appetizers. Live Jam starting at 4pm and well as their roast beef dinner.
We hope you can join us to raise a glass, share a story, and celebrate a life well lived.
