Setting up some time for family and friends to get together to remember and celebrate the life of Gerry Steele.
For those unaware, my father passed away in late August after a short illness. Dad said he didn’t want any formal services, so this will be very informal. This will be a free-form event to get together to talk about him, laugh and just be together. No schedule, no sermons, and no bummers! I’m sure most of you remember my dad as a pretty fun guy to be around, and that’s the type of energy I’m hoping for from this!
The event will be catered, there will be alcohol available at the Legion’s bar, as well as some of dad’s favorite music. Stop in any time, leave any time!
Only things I ask:
- Please try to respond “Going” on this event page so I can get a rough headcount for catering purposes.
- If you have any photos of/with my dad, I would really appreciate if you’d bring a copy!
- If you can’t make it, leave your favorite photo or memory in the comments!
