Daniel Webb was born in Paducah in 1989, graduated from Heath High School, and signed with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2009. He pitched for the Chicago White Sox from 2013-2016. In October of 2017, Daniel died in an ATV accident.
In his honor, America Dreams Delivered is inviting youth 16 and under to attend the Paducah Chiefs game on Saturday, June 29th. Youth wearing a sports jersey or little league t-shirt will have free admission and receive a free patriotic poster at the end of the game. Maybe one day, just like Daniel did when making it to the MLB, they will achieve their dream!
There will be a double-header game that night to make up for a rain-out earlier in the season. The first game starts at 6:00pm. Both games will be 7 innings.
