It’s hard to believe that it has almost been a year since we lost Dominic. Some days it feels like yesterday, and other days it feels like we’ve lived a lifetime without him. Time keeps moving, even when a part of our hearts feels like it stood still on April 17th.As this one year mark approaches, we want to come together in love, faith, and unity to honor his life and the spirit he continues to carry through all of us. Dom was someone who loved gatherings, he loved seeing his people together, laughing, connecting, and creating memories. So that’s exactly what we’re going to do.
We truly believe that love like his doesn’t disappear. It transforms. It surrounds us. As the verse says, “Godly people do not pass away,they walk with us every day.” And we feel him in so many moments still.
This day is not just about remembering the pain of losing him it’s about celebrating the blessing of having known him. It’s about sharing stories, hugging a little tighter, enjoying food/drinks and honoring the beautiful soul that left such a permanent imprint on our lives.
Please RSVP before March 20 so we can make sure to have enough memorial shirts for everyone attending.
