Hi everyone,This year marks 10 years since we lost our wonderful, amazing Husband/Dad, Ade Slater on 27th June 2016, so we thought it would be lovely to get together and do one of his favourite things.
On Saturday 27th June 2026, we’re planning a memory walk around Emsworth Millpond, finishing up at The Ship Inn for a drink and to raise a glass to him.
We’ll meet in Emsworth Square at 1pm and take the usual walk around the millpond – one of Ade’s favourite walks – then head to his favourite pub for a catch up, a drink, and to share a few memories.
We thought it would be a great way for friends and family to get together, remember him, celebrate his life, and enjoy the walk and pub he loved so much.
