Remember Tomorrow presents Doppelgänger double bill on Friday 27th November.
The Man who thought life (Manden der tænkte ting) - 7pm
Journey to the far side of the Sun (Doppelgänger) - 9pm
Remember Tomorrow, Cube's exploration of the lost utopias and dystopias promised by twentieth-century science fiction returns. This November, we're presenting a double bill of doubles, pairing an overlooked gem of Danish sci-fi with Gerry Anderson's first venture into live-action filmmaking after Thunderbirds; Doppelgänger (Journey to The Far Side of the Sun). This ambitious 1969 feature saw Gerry Anderson step beyond the puppet adventures that made his name to create a rare British science fiction film with high production values. Expect uncanny identities, fractured realities and futures that never quite arrived.
