A November Gathering of Cacao, Reiki, Sound, Remembrance & Gratitude
November invites us into a quieter season. A time to turn inward, to remember, to give thanks, and to make space for all that lives within the heart.
Join us at The Origami House for an evening of cacao, Reiki, sound, and intentional connection with Monica Reyna and Lindsey Pompileo of House of Light and Kara Markovich.
Throughout November, The Origami House will hold an altar dedicated to those we love, those we have lost, and those whose lives and presence continue to shape us. This evening offers an opportunity to gather around that altar together, bringing our own memories, gratitude, grief, and love into the space.
Lindsay and Monica will guide us through a cacao ceremony, inviting us to slow down, connect with the heart, and set an intention for what we are ready to receive. House of Light works with cacao alongside Bobinsana and Blue Lotus, plants traditionally associated with heart opening, sweetness, calm, meditation, and spiritual connection.
From there, Reiki offers another opportunity to soften and receive, while Kara’s sound immersion creates space for deep listening, rest, and integration.
This is an evening for remembering and receiving.
For honoring what has been.
For giving thanks for what is.
For making room for what is still unfolding.
You are invited to bring a photograph, small object, written note, or simply the name of someone you love to place on the altar. You may also come simply as you are, with nothing to bring but yourself.
No particular belief or experience is required. Only a willingness to pause, listen, remember, and receive.
Investment: $77
*Though mats, bolsters, and blankets will be provided for the sound immersion, we recommend bringing a pillow and a favorite blanket. Please also bring a small photograph, object, flower, or other meaningful offering to place on the altar that may remain there for the month of November.
