Beginning Yoga: Deepening the Foundations
Each class opens with a brief reading or teaching, an invitation to hold Yoga as something more than physical exercise. Movement begins slowly, with attention first to the breath and then to the alignment cues and variations that keep the practice safe and accessible. New postures are introduced gradually, building a steady foundation before moving toward more complexity.
This class welcomes students at every starting point. Those returning from Beginning Yoga will find the practice building on postures already learned, going deeper rather than repeating ground already covered. Those who are new to yoga are just as welcome: there's room to revisit foundational cues, and no prior class is required to join in.
Led by Gina Greene, E.RYT, LMT, this class meets you where you are. You will never be asked to take a posture that feels compromising for your body, and variations are always offered. The most useful things to bring are curiosity, friendliness, and respect for your own experience.
