Join us for a unique printmaking experience with acclaimed artist Maryam Ghasempour Siahgaldeh! ✨Maryam, also known as Nilu, is an Iranian artist pursuing her MFA in Photography at Kansas State University. Maryam has a solid foundation in graphic design, cultivated during her studies at Tehran Shariaty Governmental University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. Born and raised in Iran, her artistic journey began there, initially centered on design before evolving into a profound passion for photography and printmaking.
Maryam is a versatile artist skilled in photography and printmaking. Her work, often inspired by themes of women's rights and social issues, blends documentary, street, and abstract styles. She incorporates Iranian calligraphy into her art, adding a personal and cultural dimension to her work.
In this workshop, you will learn the art of linoleum carving and create stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces.
Workshop is 16+, $25 Student/$50 Non-student
