About this Event
Do you ever wish there was a quick tool to ease aches, cravings, or tension in the body? In this 2-hour interactive session, you’ll be introduced to how EFT can be used (or at least explored) for physical pain, discomfort, and cravings.
Bring your comfort food or cigarettes, and you’ll experience it firsthand.
In this session, you’ll:
✅Get a concise intro to how EFT is used for pain, discomfort, and cravings
✅Go through an EFT protocol targeting bodily pain or a craving (e.g. food, nicotine, urges)
✅Experience a live demo focusing on a pain or a craving
✅Leave with a “starter protocol” to try on your own, plus recommended resources
Who’s it for:
This is ideal if you’re curious how EFT might help with recurring pain (e.g. headaches, back pain, joint discomfort) or persistent cravings (e.g. for snacks, sweets, or smoking). Even if you’re sceptical, this is a safe space to explore and experiment.
What research supports it:
EFT has been explored in various studies with encouraging (though still preliminary) results regarding pain and cravings:
- , along with drops in anxiety, depression, and cortisol.
 - A 2025 randomized clinical trial showed that EFT significantly reduced chronic pain severity and interference, compared to controls.
 - Brain imaging studies are beginning to map how EFT may modulate neural activation related to pain and intake urges/cravings. ScienceDirect+2efttappingtraining.com+2
 - EFT has been studied in substance-use and addictive behaviour settings; one study found it significantly reduced cravings in patients with substance-related disorders.
 - In the area of food cravings, one study using brain scans found that after a few weeks of EFT practice, brain activation in hunger/craving regions diminished.

Again: these are promising findings, not cures. EFT is a supplement, an experiment, not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. Always check in with healthcare providers.
