Release your burden
About this Event
In this workshop, we will work together to:
- Recognise the burdens we carry within us,
- Use clay to visualise the burdens, and then
- Release our creations and learn to let go.
We hope to create a safe and playful space for activists to come together, share and release heavy emotions through play and discovering childlike curiosity, leaving with a relaxed, refreshed mind and feeling lighter.
This workshop is for People of Colour only to ensure a safe space for activists and community members to come together in a place of mutual understanding without the added emotional labour of explaining racism to white people.
No previous clay experience required. Materials will be provided.
This event is presented as part of Glasgow 2026 Festival, supported by Glasgow Life, Glasgow City Council, sportscotland, and Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026.
