Come celebrate the release of a book that started as a daily Facebook post and became something nobody expected, a funny, tender, page-turning diary of a miniature schnauzer named Annie Grace and the humans she trained along the way.
Annie Grace arrived at the Kumpe home on March 8 (born January 11, 2026), wearing a pink collar and carrying many opinions. What followed was sixty days of shadows, squirrels, ant beds, bath protests, bell ringing, peek-a-boo on the bench, and one very important white left paw pressed against the glass door every single morning.
This book is for dog lovers. Puppy owners. Anyone who has ever lost a beloved pet and found room in their heart for a new one. Anyone who needs a good laugh and maybe a quiet moment, too.
About the Authors:
Pam Kumpe is a writer, newspaper columnist, and author based in East Texas. She has been writing since college and has published 41 books, including children's books, devotionals, and redemptive mysteries. Annie Grace is her most opinionated collaborator to date.
Annie Grace is a miniature schnauzer who lives in East Texas with her human mama, human daddy, and Max the long-haired Chihuahua. She is left-pawed, which she considers a great distinction. She has strong opinions about brooms, shadows, the Texas Rangers, and the untippable water bowl situation. She began her writing career at eight weeks old and has not slowed down since. She is also the subject and co-author of her own children's book. She would like everyone to know the book was her idea.
