Relax Kids Workshop at Lawley Community Centre

Kids Relax are providing a class for relaxation techniques and mindfulness with learning techniques, games and crafts perfect for children.
About this Event

For these holiday workshops Kids Relax will be exploring how music can influence our emotions and moods, as well as introducing the children to how sound vibrations can help calm and regulate our nervous system. It'll all be very hands-on, with plenty of opportunities to chat, listen, and get involved.

There will be a selection of instruments for everyone to explore, have a play with, and maybe even discover a new favourite! We'll experiment with different sounds, rhythms, and vibrations in a fun, relaxed way.

To finish things off, we'll slow the pace down with some mindful craft activities, including making our own musical instruments to take home. It's a lovely way to encourage creativity while showing that music doesn't have to come from expensive instruments. You can make it yourself!

This session is suitable for children ages 5-11. Please only book tickets for children and not adults.

All children attending will need to be accompanied by an adult and they will need to remain there during the session.

If you no longer need tickets you have booked, please can you kindly cancel them promptly so that tickets can be reallocated to those on the waiting list. This will help us to keep future events free of charge.

These sessions are for residents residing within Lawley & Overdale Parish Council, this includes Lawley Village, Overdale, The Rock, Newdale, Old Park and Dawley Bank.

The event is being organised by Lawley & Overdale Parish Council and funding has been provided by the Wrekin Housing Plus Group.
