REINA: A New Musical Workshop

REINA is an all new original musical by Jorge Delgado, with music and lyrics by Katie Horner and dramaturgical support by Anthony Schrock. Come join us on the evening of September 26th at 3pm at the Paramount Center for the Arts in St Cloud, Minnesota, to experience a first look at new musical theater!
Set against the backdrop of 19th-century Paraguay, REINA follows Eliza Lynch’s journey from Ireland to Paris and ultimately to Paraguay, where she became one of the nation’s most celebrated and controversial historical figures. Her life unfolded alongside the events leading to the War of the Triple Alliance, one of the most devastating conflicts in South American history.
The workshop will feature a cast of actors along with live dance performances by Ballet Folklorico celebrating Latin American culture.
