Reimagining Education

Are you a parent or child interested in exploring alternative education options or looking to influence change in your current school? Are you an educator who wants to challenge and enrich your practice by engaging with alternative pedagogies? Are you someone who wants to envision a different future for our education system and children?

In this event, you will hear from three local educators and parents with a long history of working in both alternative and mainstream education systems across all ages. All three presenters have also navigated both alternative and mainstream school options for their children from early years to secondary school.

This will be an open-ended discussion intended to inspire, challenge, and connect local parents, youth, and educators together.

Claire Walker is the Head of School at the inspirational Lumiar Stowford, a progressive school for ages 4-11 in Farleigh-Hungerford. Gillian Corke is one of the UK's only certified Positive Discipline trainers for parents and educators. Tom Brown is an experienced Montessori guide for primary and secondary age children.

Tickets are £5 and spaces are limited.
