Reimagine Folkmoot - Community Strategic Planning Session

You are invited to join the Folkmoot Board of Trustees and other county leaders for a two-part community strategic planning session, January 15 and February 15, 2027, 12:00 to 1:00 pm in the Folkmoot Queen Auditorium. Our goal is to brainstorm and re-envision how Folkmoot can continue to serve the needs of our community in meaningful and lasting ways.

Reflecting upon the impact of the Folkmoot International Festival on the WNC region and the values of community, collaboration, and wonder that the festival has brought to us all, we have an opportunity to view Folkmoot’s buildings and open spaces with fresh eyes. We believe this is an important moment to explore new possibilities, identify unmet community needs, and consider how the building can become a home for programs, partnerships, or services that strengthen Haywood County throughout the year.
