Reiki is a gentle energy practice that supports peace and well-being for the mind, body, and spirit. In this interactive day workshop, you’ll leave feeling grounded, serene, and confident in giving yourself and others a Reiki I treatment.

Your Instructor
Cathy Anesi, LCSW, RM is the Owner and Director of The Lighthouse Retreat and Wellness Center. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals of all ages, families, and groups, and she supervises the therapeutic staff at The Lighthouse.
Cathy is a Reiki Master, holds certifications in Cranial Sacral Therapy, and has completed Level 4 training in PURE Healing Light Energy. Her sessions are unique in that she combines energy healing modalities with traditional psychotherapy when appropriate, offering an effective and supportive way to process emotional issues in a nurturing environment.
She is also a Level II EMDR therapist. (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a structured psychotherapy approach developed to help resolve symptoms from disturbing and unresolved life experiences. It is commonly used for trauma-related disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression.)
Cathy received her MSW from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Work, with a concentration in children and families. She has worked extensively with families of children with disabilities in the Westchester County area through Early Intervention and the Committee for Preschool Education. Currently, she provides family therapy using the NEST modality, in collaboration with the Lighthouse therapeutic team.
