This course is for anyone who is drawn to Reiki as a personal healing and self-development tool and lays the foundation of Reiki.
The First Degree (Level 1) course will cover:
*What is Reiki?
*The history of Reiki
*Healing and Reiki (including the mind-body connection and the four levels of Reiki healing)
*Energy and Reiki (including basic energy theory, the chakra system, and the aura)
*Energy cleansing techniques
*How to conduct a Reiki self-treatment
*How to give a Reiki treatment to others
*The different uses of Reiki
*The Reiki Principles
Over the two days of this course you will receive four Reiki 1 attunements which starts the flow of Reiki energy. You will be able to treat friends and family, and to use Reiki for your own healing and personal development. (Note that you will only be able to set up a professional practice to treat others for a fee, after receiving Reiki Level 2.)
Your teachers will be Usui Reiki Masters Natasja and John King. We received our Reiki Master training in London in the Usui Tradition according to the Japanese and Western styles, and therefore will teach the Level 1 Reiki Course in the Usui Tradition and students are trained in both the Japanese and Western lineages. We are both Master Teacher & Practitioner members of the Reiki Guild South Africa.
The course fee includes:
Refreshment and lunch on both days, a detailed course manual, course certificate and lineage certificate.
