If you've felt called to learn and reiki and metaphysical science, join experienced Reiki Master Teacher, Elaine Rodriguez for this first level class experience.
Reiki, a form of energy healing, is an ancient practice that is used to reduce stress, improve health and quality of life, and support physical and emotional healing. Research suggests that using Reiki as a complementary therapy activates the parasympathetic nervous system to heal body and mind via the relaxation response. Reiki is accessible to everyone.
After receiving the Reiki 1 certificate, participants will be able to perform self-treatments and provide treatments for others. Generally, Reiki providers do not begin practicing professionally until they have received the second degree.

Receive the gift of energy healing activation by learning more about the energy centers (Chakra system), managing your own energy, and deepening your healing journey with four attunements with the traditional Usui Reiki natural healing system.
Reiki is a Japanese healing method using the universal life force or higher power. “Rei” is translated as “sacred” “spirit” and “ki” is life force energy that flows through every living thing. Life Force Energy is present in all living things to effect change physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually (even in worldwide situations). Reiki energizes, restores, revitalizes, and rebalances the body, mind, and spirit. It is a very powerful modality, yet gentle and loving.
Classes are limited to six students with a minimum of three for optimal learning/experience opportunities.
In this class, you will learn and discuss the history and origin of Reiki. You will receive four attunements (which activate your ability to channel Reiki energy) and learn basic lessons about energy centers known as the Chakra system and how these relate to each other. You will learn hand positions to do self-treatment, as well as full body treatment on others. You will also learn grounding, centering, and protection. Time will be allowed to practice on fellow classmates. You will receive a study manual and certificate of completion.
