3 Day Shinpiden Reiki Course, each day is from 9am till 5pm.
Shinpiden is the Japanese word for ‘mystery teachings’. It is aimed at Level II practitioners or established Reiki Teachers who wish to continue their personal journey, a journey that is ongoing long after you complete the Shinpiden course. It is therefore not just about teaching and is even suitable for those who wish to simply develop their personal Reiki practice and occasionally teach those around them.
This course focuses on Being Reiki, so that we can take this state of mind with us in all we do during the day. When we understand how to practice hands on healing, reiju/attunement, and more from this state of Being Reiki our practice and teaching will deepen and our lives will flow in a more profound way of inner happiness and joy.
During this course we will explore the Japanese shirusi (symbols) and kototama (mantras) and their interconnectedness to Japanese esoteric traditions like Zen, Shugendo, Tendai etc…
A major focus of this course is to tap into the sense that you are, and always were, a great, bright light – this is achieved by practicing and understanding the fourth shirushi and kototama. of the system of Reiki.
Benefits of Shinpiden:
Access a deep sense of tranquillity
Be confident as a teacher and practitioner

Shinpiden students are encouraged to resit International House of Reiki classes for continuing education purposes. A minimum fee may be required.

Transition course, if required, is included in the course fee.

Who is Frans Steine?
Frans Stiene is based in Haarlem, Netherlands, he is one of the most renowned Reiki teachers in the world. His practical understanding of the Japanese influences on the system of Reiki has allowed students worldwide to connect deeply with this practice.
Frans is the main teacher of the International House of Reiki which focuses solely on the system of Reiki as a spiritual healing practice. He is the author of critically acclaimed books The Inner Heart of Reiki—Rediscovering Your True Self, Reiki Insights, and The Way of Reiki—The Inner Teachings of Mikao Usui. His books are in English, Dutch, German, French and hopefully soon more languages. Additionally, he co-authored The Reiki Sourcebook, The Japanese Art of Reiki, A-Z of Reiki Pocketbook, and Your Reiki Treatment.
Frans has also lived in India – Himalaya for 2 years and in Australia, he now enjoys traveling the world to teach the system of Reiki and have exciting adventures. Since 2012 Frans has been training with Takeda Hakusai Ajari, a priest based in Japan, to deepen his understanding of the System of Reiki and other Japanese spiritual practices. Takeda Hakusai Ajarai himself is a student of the famous marathon monk Sakai Dai Ajari. Frans has also studied with Reverend Yamabushi Priest Kûban from France and many other teachers, he believes that learning and training never stops.
"Frans keeps researching and practicing traditional Japanese teachings to find out what Mikao Usui himself was practicing to get a deeper understanding about what the system of Reiki is really about. This will help him to become a better teacher and to support students in their understanding of the system and their own personal spiritual practice.Frans is one of the rare Reiki teachers who is undertaking these practices."
